“But she loves hanging out with me!” Evan replied. “We’re friends!” Gavin had to be lying, he just had to be. Aisling didn’t seem like the type of girl to go and hang out with somebody just to be nice.

"She's just too nice to hurt your feelings by telling you the truth, I'm sure," Gavin replied with a shrug. And for all he knew that was the truth. Of course, for all he knew it could be completely untrue as well. Who knew. All he cared was that it was bothering Evan, and that's all that mattered.

“Shut up,” Evan replied. “You’re lying!” He was getting really irritated now. He knew Gavin was lying to him, he just knew it! And even if he wasn’t, he’d just find out the truth for himself and ask Aisling.

"Whatever," Gavin replied dryly. "Believe what you want. I don't really care." Whether or not Aisling liked Evan, one thing was for sure; she would never, ever, in a million years go out with him. Gavin knew that one hundred percent. There was no way his sweet, smart sister would ever want to be with this annoying asshole.

Evan glared at him. “I believe in the truth,” he replied. “And that’s the fact that Aisling does like me!” His glare didn’t leave, “You’re just be a stupid asshole.”

"That's hilarious, coming from you," Gavin retorted, narrowing his eyes. "If anyone's a stupid asshole, it's the guy whose entire life's mission is to piss people off. In other words, you."

"I just like to have some fun," Evan replied. "So what if that's the way I do it?" He crossed his arms over his chest. "And you happen to be my favorite victim," he told him. "You need to learn to live a little."

"I know how to live," Gavin replied defensively. Just because he was angry all the time around Evan didn't mean he was angry all the the time. Evan was just annoying. When he was by himself, or with someone he could stand, he was....okay. Maybe not happy. Content. He was content. He was "living a little." Wasn't he? He was definitely better off than he had been four years ago. "You just need to leave me alone."

"What if I don't want to," Evan replied. "What if I like bothering you?" Sadly and not surprisingly, Evan didn't have very many friends. Gavin, was the only person he really hung out with, if you could even call it hanging out. Which you couldn't.

"Then I'll kill you," Gavin snarled back through gritted teeth, about down to his last nerve. One more irritating comment from Evan and he was gonna snap and carry through on that threat. It wasn't as if it'd be the first time he tried to kill Evan. (Okay, not literally kill, but you get the picture.) He really just wanted to tear this kid's snarky face off.

"I'd like to see you try," Evan replied, narrowing his eyes. Yeah, Gavin and Evan got into plenty of fist fights, but he didn't think Gavin would ever have the balls to actually kill Evan. Punch him and push him around some, yes, but not kill.

Well, obviously Gavin wouldn't literally try to kill Evan. "Kill" was just an exaggeration for "beat the crap out of." And this entire conversation Gavin had just been itching for an excuse to do just that. So when Evan dared him to, Gavin let out a growl and lunged at EVan, tackling him to the ground. He straddled him around the waist and started punching him in the face over and over.

Evan grunted and tried pushing Gavin off. He didn't get him off, so he started to fight back. At first, he tried punching him in the stomach, but then he took on his animal form. His lips curled back, and he began to snarl, biting viciously at Gavin's arms and hands.

Gavin was doing pretty well beating Evan, until the little asshole decided to turn into a fucking dog and start biting him. Well, as they say, fight fire with fire. So Gavin turned into his animal form, and started biting and scratching back at Evan. Even though he was smaller and had a size disadvantage as a fox, he was still better off like this than as a human fighting a big dog.
The two rolled around for a while, snarling and biting each other, until somehow they ended up chasing each other through the woods, snapping and growling viciously as they went.

Evan yipped and snarled, his tail between his legs. He kept up with Gavin, snapping and spitting at him. They kept yelping and biting, their jaws snapping, and eventually found themselves into the city area in Saelin.
