The carbunlce is so rare it was once thought to be mere legend. It is a small, extremely timid creature, known for the beautiful jewel on its forehead. Legend has it that this jewel brings good luck to those who possess it, leading a misguided few to attempt to hunt down the elusive carbuncle.

The dresdin is an animal found in volcanic crags. It's distantly related to the dragon and shares the ability to breathe fire. When standing, the head of a dresdin will reach your waist.

The Epmon is a sea monster that grows slightly bigger than the great white shark. It is bloodthirsty and will take a bite out of anything it encounters. Luckily they live pretty far out in the sea, so swimmers are unlikely to come across them, but attacks do happen. Their bite in strong enough to snap a steel rod in two with ease.

The fuwa is a beast that hunts in packs. It's known for it's wolf-like behavior, and it's cunning speed. They've been known to run at 45 mph, and when hunting in groups it's almost impossible to get away from them. They're small, about the size of a full grown fox, but don't let that underestimate you.

The harpy is a grotesque, cunning bird-creature. It has a violent nature and will often attack unprovoked. They are known for their ability to cause disease and decay. If one were to be attacked by a harpy, they should cleanse any wounds immediately.

The Latrix is a black cat-like creature about the size of an ocelot. It is known for the handlike appendage on the end of its tail used for catching prey. It also has a pair of long, tusklike fangs that distinguish it from other felines. It's only active at night.

The Shade is a water dragon found off the shores of Aaeria. They are more common around the water surrounding Iceland, but are known to come up to the beaches surrounding the mainland.

The Sheil is a large creature with long, thin legs and an ever longer neck. It is known for it's luminescence at night. They're gentlre vegetarians and do not attack people. They're extremely intelligent and have magical abilities.

*Dangerous if encountered at night, otherwise it is quite friendly.
The twoboe is an unique creature, for when it is day, it looks like a silver doe with an odd assortment of feathers on it's head. However, when the sun dips below the horizon the twoboe changes both shape and temperament. It eats flesh as it's nightly snack and has been known to attack humans on more than one occassion.
