Aloysius bit his lip and nodded. "Please," he replied. He didn't like it in here. He felt like he was suffocating. "Don't be gone too long," he added with a slight plea in his voice. He felt like it would get worse when she left. This terrifying feeling.

Aimee nodded and said, "I'll be back soon." She stood and kissed his forehead before leaving the room and going to the wherever she'd go to talk about getting a bigger room. Moments later they were back in Aloysius' room, carefully transferring him to another bed, and wheeling it to the bigger room.

Aloysius proved difficult to move when he was in the middle of having a panic attack. Having the doctors touch him was just making it worse. However, having Aimee right there by his side seemed to help. Her reassuring him the whole way was the only thing keeping him from becoming hysterical.
Once he was all settled in the bigger hospital room and all the doctors were gone, his panic started to subside a little bit.The short trip exhausted him, despite the fact that he'd hardly had to move at all. He knew he needed to sleep, but he was afraid. He was afraid that when he woke up, he'd be back in that cabin.

As they moved Aloysius to the next room, Aimee could tell that he didn't like the doctors and nurses touching him. So she made it her duty to try and comfort him, telling him to keep his eyes on her, and telling him that she was there.
After they got Aloysius into the bigger room, Aimee took her original spot on a chair near his bed. "Is this better?" She asked, "A bigger room?"

"Yes...it's better," Aloysius replied quietly. He was fighting a losing battle to stay awake. He didn't want to sleep. He didn't want to be so vulnerable. But Aimee wouldn't let anything happen. She wouldn't do anything. He was safe with her. He needed her.
"I'm so tired...Aimee...promise not to leave. Promise you'll be here when I wake up. Please? Promise me?" He was so afraid.

"I promise honey," Aimee told him, while reaching out to smooth some of his hair back. "I promise that when you wake up, I'll be here." She smiled sadly at him, and hoped then when he woke up, she wouldn't be asleep. She wanted to be there for him when he needed her.
