[Edaniel]

Edaniel was going to visit his sexy new friend Caeden at his house today. Easily impressed Edaniel was uber excited to be staying at a house. He hadn't lived in a house in like two years or something. It was probably way nicer than living in the woods. He was also, of course, excited just to see Caeden. He liked Caeden a lot, in a way he couldn't quite make sense of yet.

He arrived at the address Caeden had somehow given him and knocked on the door. Then he stepped back and waited impatiently for it to open. Ahh, he couldn't wait! Not even the five seconds it would take for Caeden to open the door!

[Caeden]

Caeden had gone shopping yesterday, so his house was packed full of nummy foods. He'd even bought some steaks and such to cook for himself and Edaniel for dinner. It was going to be a great day. Maybe they'd go swimming at the beach, but it was just as possible that they'd just hang out around the house.

Caeden heard a knock at the door, and a grin appeared on his face. It was sure to be Edaniel, the little mongoose boy that had attracted his attention immediately. He kept his smile as he went to answer the door.

"Well if it isn't Mongoose Boy," he said cheerfully. He was amused to see the look of excitement on Edaniel's face. "You're even cuter then I remember."

[Edaniel]

"Really?" Edaniel asked stupidly, as if Caeden was being literal. Something about Caeden's presence made him act sillier than usual, which was saying something. "You look the same to me. Not that that's a bad thing." Caeden had been attractive then and he was attractive now. Or...er, he would have been...if Edaniel was attracted to boys. Yeah.

[Caeden]

"Definitely," Caeden answered, still amused. "Here, come on in," he told him, stepping back to allow Edaniel to pass. "It's not the best house, but it's enough for just me," he explained. He wasn't afraid Edaniel wouldn't like it, he was just simply stating fact.

"D'you want something to drink?" he asked, watching as Edaniel looked around the living room. "I've got a bunch of stuff in the primitive kitchen thing we've got going on here in this wonderful primitive world that Sam doesn't know why she keeps using since this crap is so hard with it. Juice and stuff, you know."

[Edaniel]

If Edaniel had been listening, he would have looked at Caeden like he was insane, since breaking the fourth wall wasn't something he was familiar with. But instead, he was way to busy checking out the house to hear even a word of what Caeden said. "What?" he asked vaguely, picking up a candle and sniffing it. It was scented. Weeeeird. He looked up. "Did you say juice? I like orange juice."

[Caeden]

"That's good to hear," Caeden said. "The kitchen is this way, if you'd like to check it out. If not, I'll just meet you back in here in a few seconds. I've got some snacks too if you're hungry..."

Edaniel had been a fast eater, and it made Caeden think he loved food. He knew a few people that were always hungry, and they ate the same was Edaniel did, so he was just assuming.

[Edaniel]

"Always," Edaniel replied in response to the 'if you're hungry' statement. Caeden was right, he loved food. He wandered into the kitchen and looked around. "Your house is nice. I wish I lived in a nice house like this." He didn't say it enviously or anything. He was just impressed. After all, it was hard not to be when you've spent the last couple years living in the woods.

[Caeden]

"Thanks," he replied, pulling out various snacks from his primitive fridge or cupboards or whatever. "It's nothing amazing, but like I said before, it's good enough for me. That's all that really matters, right?"

He grabbed the orange juice and poured two glasses. "Let's take these into the living room," he said, picking up things and hauling them in. He set them on the coffee table thing that was in front of the couch.

Caeden patted the spot next to him, a smile on his face. "Come sit," he offered, holding out a glass of OJ for him. He wanted Edaniel to sit on the couch with him, not on a chair. ;D

[Edaniel]

Edaniel bounded over and plopped down on the couch next to Caeden. He probably would have even if Caeden hadn't offered the seat for him, since Edaniel is all about closeness. "Thank yew," he replied with a :3 face, taking the cup and gulping it down.

"How come you live here all alone?" he questioned curiously.

[Caeden]

"Well, who am I supposed to live with?" he asked gently, taking a sip of his own orange juice. "My parents are in Solesper, and I don't have any siblings or anything to stay with."

He picked up a pretzel and popped it in his mouth. After he swallowed he said, "And I've never found anyone special to move in, either. It isn't so bad, living alone... but I would like to find a special person to share it with."

[Edaniel]

"I dunno, it isn't like you couldn't get a roommate or something," Edaniel replied, not getting the hint at all. "A roommate doesn't have to be a special person. It could just be one of your friends. I bet there are tons of Saelins who would like to live in a house." Once he finished talking he gobbled up some more yummies, and washed them down with the last of his orange juice.

[Caeden]

Caeden smiled. He'd expected his subtlety to go over Edaniel's head, and wasn't surprised when it did. More amused than anything, something he was often when around his new mongoose friend. Not that that was a bad thing, it was actually really cute.

"Well, you're in Saelin... aren't you?" he asked, taking another sip of his juice. "I mean, if you're looking for a place, I'm looking for a roommate." He set the glass down, and then tilted his head slightly in question at Edaniel.

[Edaniel]

Edaniel almost spit out his food in surprise. (Thankfully he dind't.) Him? Live here? In a house! He could live in a house! He wouldn't be miserable when it rained! Or lonely and scared at night! "Really!?" he exclaimed once he'd swallowed all his food. "I would like that. I would really, really like that. To live in a house. You have no idea."

[Caeden]

"So... is that a yes?" Caeden asked, a grin on his face. He'd love for the mongoose boy to live with him, then he could kiss him all the time. Because Caeden knew there would be more kissing, even if Edaniel didn't. x3

[Edaniel]

Edaniel looked at Caeden like he was crazy. "What d'you think? Of COURSE it's a yes!" he exclaimed incredulously. How could it not have been a yes? What crazy person would choose to keep living in the woods when they could live in a house with a roommate? Well...Ednaiel could think of one person who probably would...but that didn't matter! He was gonna live in a house! "Seriously, I don't even know how to thank you!"
